3     What happens with your data when you visit our website?

When you visit our website, your personal information is automatically collected by our IT systems. These data are primarily technical data, e. g. such as the browser or time. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn to your person and is not evaluated by us. The data are collected in order to ensure the proper functioning of the website. The legal basis of this processing is Art. 6(1) GDPR, it is our legitimate interest to offer you a faultless operation of our website.

The website provider of this site automatically collects and stores information in so-called “server log files”, that your browser transfers to us automatically. These are browser type and  browser version, operating system used, time of the server request, IP address, URL and host name of the accessing computer.

When visiting our website, statistical analyses may be made of your surfing behaviour. The analysis of your surfing behaviour is usually anonymous, i.e. we will not be able to identify you from this data. This happens primarily using cookies and analytics. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure and they do not harm your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools.

4     For what purpose do we collect your personal data?

4.1   We use your personal information for the performance of pre-contractual, contractual or post-contractual as well as legal obligations.

Within the context of concluding a supplier or customer and/or a work contract, we require your personal information. We may also require the data prior to the conclusion of the contract or after the termination of the contract. We manage your personal information to organize communication and projects with you.

4.2     We use your personal information to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties.

We only process your personal data whenever a third party has a legitimate interest in doing so. We might obtain credit checks and collect payment. We are also interested in the error-free operation of our website. Provided you have not objected to it, we may also use your personal data for direct marketing.

To protect our own interests and to safeguard our property rights, some parts of our premised are under video surveillance.

4.3     We use your data with your consent

In individual cases, it can happen that we obtain your consent in order to process your data. Of course, processing your data on that basis will be done only with the express permission and in a specific case.

 

5     Recipient of your personal information

5.1 Processors

We use your personal data to meet our contractual and statutory obligations. If necessary and admissible, we may pass your data to third parties or to processors.

Processors process data only on our behalf and in accordance with our specifications. These include, inter alia, partners for remote maintenance or credit checks as well as website owners.

5.2 YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins from the Google-operated site YouTube. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with YouTube plug-in, you are directly linked to YouTube’s servers. This way, YouTube is informed which pages of a website you have visited.

YouTube may also store various cookies on your device. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website.  This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

In case you are logged on to your YouTube account, YouTube may also associate your surfing behaviour to your personal account. You can prevent that from happening by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1) GDPR.

5.3 Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you open a page, the browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display the text and font correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

6      Rights and obligations

In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to know which data we have stored about you.

In accordance with Art.16 GDPR, the right to have your data corrected, if they are inaccurate.

In accordance with Art.17 GDPR, the right to have your data deleted, if they are inaccurate.

In accordance with Art.18 GDPR, the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

In accordance with Art.20 GDPR the right to data portability.

In accordance with Art. 21 GDPR the right to withdraw consent. This relates to the data processing which is done on the basis of Art. 6(1 e) or (f) GDPR. If the consent was given in accordance with Art. 6(1 a) it may be revoked at any time.

If you want to assert any of the rights described above, please get in touch with our data-protection supervisor.

Also, you are given the right of appeal at the supervisory authority.

You have the duty to submit all the data necessary for the tasks and to notify us of any changes to enable us to continue to assume our respective responsibilities. If you do not wish to comply with this requirement, we cannot be contracting parties.

 

7     Duration of stored data

We will store personal data for as long as it is necessary to meet our contractual and statutory obligations. Your personal data will be erased if we no longer need them (after termination of contracts or when a contract has not become valid), provided legislation does not require further storage. However, after the legal retention period at the latest, your personal data will be erased with one exception when it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

We do not apply profiling and/or the automated decision making.
